Nelson Matheus is the Claims Manager at NamibRe, with extensive reinsurance and management skills. He has been in the reinsurance industry for 10 years and he is passionate about risk management and at the same time ensuring that clients are indemnified in case of a loss.
Prior to joining the reinsurance industry, he worked for an audit firm for 2 years, and it is where his passion for risk management started.
He holds an MBA from Namibia Business School (NBS), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (NBS), B.Tech Degree in Accounting and Finance from Namibia University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and several Insurance Certificates from University of South Africa (UNISA).
Nelson Matheus is also a prolific Public Speaker and spoke at various claims conferences both locally and internationally.
