Terashni Pillay
Terashni has an established career in the financial services industry spanning almost a decade, where she has held senior and executive leadership roles. She is currently the Chief Executive officer of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions South Africa. Most recently Terashni led the African risk consulting portfolio for the largest global insurance brokerage. Previously, she built and led the risk engineering division at a leading global insurer. She has international work experience in the US, Africa, and the Middle East in commercial, corporate, energy and engineering risks. Terashni earned her MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science bachelor's degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2018 she spent time at Georgia Tech (Scheller College of Business) exploring FinTech and disruptive innovation. Her interests are in insurance, strategy, people and culture, customer centricity, business model innovation and InsurTech.
